Overview: This article shows how Administrators can Add a New Skill Category, which is used to group together a set of related Skill(s) or Qualifications.
For example, Language is the category for skills such as English or Spanish.
Steps:
Note: This article assumes you are already in the Skill Categories tab (Admin → Skills Setup → Skills List).
To add a skill category:
- Click on “Add a new category”
- Enter the category name and subcategories if necessary.

- Click on Update to save the newly created Skill category
- You can then start adding Skills to this Skill Category
